​1 peter 2:9 

​Chosen Youth is the place to be on Wednesday evenings for 7th through 12th grade students. 1 Peter 2:9 says “…You are a CHOSEN people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” What a powerful scripture to be declared over these teens in a time time when the world is so dark. We want them to know they have been chosen and called out of this darkness. They have the light of Jesus in them and their job is to share the goodness of God with their peers. Come at 6:15- 6:45 to hang out, share some snacks and maybe play some ball in the gym. Service starts at 6:45. 
. They have tremendous student lead worship team that leads their peers into worship and in depth Bible teachings that equips them for their daily walk with Christ. They are raising up leaders, world changers.  Students who know who they are in Christ and are not afraid to show it! They are a loving group who have a passion to see everyone included and feel welcomed.  ​
The youth attend a week-long Church Camp in the summer of each year called Branded by Fire in Pensacola, Fl. They also founded and host a winter youth conference called Encounter Conference. This takes place in January of each year and is held at lake swan camp in Melrose. Many churches in the local area are included and invited to this event. They want the students to come away for a few days in the middle of their school year to put away distractions and encounter the Lord.  The Lord promises if you seek him he will be found - 2 chronicles 15:2. ​
They have an dedicated and incredible team of directors and leaders that pour into the students each week. They teach, love, feed, counsel, hug, encourage and most importantly point them to Jesus.
